Definitely. People who are in their teenage years have incredible potential to pick up any number of skills, if they devote themselves to it. Now there are a lot more resources than 2005, but also more distractions. So that's the trade-off. Powerful people make a lot of money by distracting us. Back in 2005 it wasn't as bad.

It really takes every ounce of strength to actually work on things instead of just browsing the net. Sometimes I really hate the internet. It makes it so hard to actually get work done. I think the net should just nuke all/most entertainment and social media sites lmao.
